Amazing Story From Houston, TX
We had teams representing 4 area churches working in the Eclectic area yesterday and were able to take supplies to Eclectic, Cordova and Hackleburg
This past week we (Trinity UMC Opelika) received a card in the office. It was from Houston, Tx. Inside the envelope was a note that read as follows: On May 1, 2011 we celebrated National Lemonade day by holding a Lemonade stand in front of our home. All proceeds from our sale are being donated to your community to aid in the rebuilding of your homes and schools. We hope our donation will help make a difference during this tough time. We are all thinking and praying for you in Houston Texas.

Is that just amazing or what!!!???? These kids sent a check for $50 to help Tornado Victims in our area.

We can find no family connection, no direct ties to Trinity. We are unsure as to how they heard about our efforts to help our neighbors in Elmore and Tallapoosa Counties.
