Building Connection "Glory Sighting"

Last Saturday, January 22nd, members of Trinity United Methodist Church, Wallsboro United Methodist Church, and Rivers Chapel United Methodist Church came together for a day of service.  The mission for the day was to build kitchen and bathroom walls  in the cinder block room that will soon be the Rivers Chapel fellowship hall.  Pastor Loretta Washington of Rivers Chapel was able to "dance in her kitchen" before the day was complete.  However, much more got done on Saturday than merely wall construction.  We broke bread together (several times).  We sang together.  We talked.  We laughed.  We began the work of building relationships and better realizing our connection to each other in the body of Christ and our connection to each other through the United Methodist Church.  The Holy Spirit lives and breathes and moves among us.  May God be praised!
